We want to wish a special congratulations to the recent graduates of Phase One’s Cultural Heritage program held at the National Geographic Museum in Washington D.C.   Participants from the National Archives, University of Delaware, National Gallery of Art, West Point Military Academy, National Geographic Society, University of Richmond, and more are now officially certified as Phase One Cultural Heritage Specialists.

After an intensive training course tailored to cultural heritage workflows using both Capture One software and professional imaging hardware, these graduates learned the configuration, setup, workflow and troubleshooting techniques for Phase One backs, computers and DTDCH Capture Solutions.  DT Heritage and Phase One created this intensive training program together specifically for cultural heritage institutions to certify that those that passed are highly knowledgeable in:

  • Camera Usage
  • Maximizing Image Quality
  • Capture One CH Workflow
  • Auto Crop Tool
  • LCC (Lens Cast Calibration)
  • Transmissive Material Handling
  • Numeric Image Quality Evaluation
  • Building and Evaluating Color Profiles

We wish the best of luck to these Cultural Heritage Specialists and their continued drive to stay at the forefront of digital imaging!
